Hi Scott,
I’m quite curious about this program and would like to have your opinion on two things… :
- 25 lbs fat in 25 days… isn’t that between 7 and 3.5x more than what Tom Venuto recommends (and says is achievable) in his Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle program?
- how is this different from BFFM?

Tom Venuto’s Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle is my fat loss bible and more like my long term lifestyle plan. It’s not Xtreme! It’s the most informative diet book I’ve ever come across and is set up for long term success.
The Xtreme Fat Loss Diet plan is designed to be temporary… just 25 days. It’s intense with a few fast days, a few shake days, a high protein day… and then of course the wonderful cheat day
With the specific nutrition guidelines and strategic workouts to accompany each specific diet day the premise is that you will burn much more fat and preserve your muscle. Some people have actually gained muscle on the program.
I am giving the Xtreme Fat Loss Diet my very best effort and will be sharing my results with you along the way.
I’m a firm believer in slow and steady, but once in a while following a program like this is a great kick in the pants to push you to new heights.
I’m really looking forward to experiencing the sense of accomplishment once I complete this 25 day challenge.

Nice video! I am close to ordering this for myself but I wondered what kind of supplements you have in the video. Is it a proprietary brand made by the makers of this workout program? Or does the materials just suggest a specific kind with a certain amount of ingredients.
I want to try the workout program but am always skeptical about these type of deals because they usually include extra purchases to actually follow it 100%. For example, I could see the shake mixes, supplements, etc being required and only offered through Joel Marion’s company. Does this program require you to purchase specific additional products from Joel’s company?

Great questions Bryan, and thanks for appreciating my video
The supplements that you see in my video come from the only supplement company that I recommend which is Prograde Nutrition. Both Joel and I are partners “affiliates” for Prograde, so we do earn a commission for recommending them… but we both also use them. This is not your typical supplement company. They don’t make everything under the sun, only what you need and what works.
If you were to purchase all the supplements that Joel recommends it’ll cost around $250, but you don’t necessarily have to get the multi-vitamins and krill oil right now, so that’ll save you a bit.
Now that may seem like a substantial amount of money, and indeed it is especially when you combine it with the cost of the program. But…
…those supplements are in replacement of some of the meals that you would be eating and I know that I would be spending more money on food during this 25 day program if I wasn’t following it, especially when you consider there are a 5 separate fast days throughout the 25 day challenge.
You do not have to use Prograde Supplements. You may find cheaper protein powder at your local nutrition store so you can check that out. Basically the program gives you the amount of protein that you should be consuming with each meal in grams based on your weight and body fat percentage. You can simply measure out whatever protein powder you have to accommodate what’s required.
I’m looking forward to the workouts. They are created by John Romaniello and based on his Final Phase Fat Loss program which I will be following next month. His workouts will be a nice change of pace from what I’m use to doing.

I also have to get myself in shape for a weekend vacation in mid July at South Padre Island beach with my hubby, so I really want this to work for me as I’m very committed to lose about 15 lbs from now till July so that I can finally wear a bikini which I haven’t worn in 30 years. I know that we’ll all be able to achieve our goals of finally having that sexy body of our dreams. Keep up the good work!
