Xtreme Fat Loss Diet: Fourth 5 Day Cycle Results

I can’t believe that I’ve completed four cycles of the Xtreme Fat Loss Diet already and only have one more 5 day cycle to go! It sure seems to be getting easier as we go along on this diet and knowing that there is only one cycle left makes it feel like it’ll be over and done with in a blink of an eye.
I started off the fourth cycle with a big cheat day, which consisted mostly of junk food. In my opinion it was just too much junk. I know that we’re supposed to do this, but an all out cheat day doesn’t go over too well for me. I found that it took the remaining four days of the cycle to make up for the cheat day and start looking better. The mirror was showing that I looked much better prior to the fourth cheat day and didn’t start to improve until the end of the moderate carb day. I’m going to try not to eat as much junk during my last cheat day and I know that it’ll be a very long time before I ever have a complete cheat day again.
So here’s my results for the fourth cycle of the Xtreme Fat Loss Diet…

During the fourth cycle of the Xtreme Fat Loss Diet I released another pound, .5% body fat, and my waist shrank another 1/4 inch. All in all these are pretty darn good results for 5 days with one of them being a cheat day.
I’m definitely using my pictures as more of a measuring tool than what the scale says. After all, my appearance and confidence means more to me than what the scale says.
It’s becoming obvious that the I’m burning fat by the increasing amounts of definition in my arms, shoulders, and love handle region. My veins are popping out a lot more in my arms and the separation between my arms and shoulders is becoming even more obvious. I can tell that my love handles are shrinking because I’m seeing more definition along my sides. And what’s really exciting is that I’m starting to see my stubborn lower belly fat disappear!
I’m really looking forward to seeing what happens during this last 5 day cycle to wrap up my complete 25 day challenge.

You mentioned that you were going to rely more upon the pictures than the scales to measure your progress.
I think that’s a great idea. However, I’m curious… Are the scales not moving as much as you thought they would?
I’m on my last day of XLFD. I’ll jump on the scales for the final time tomorrow morning to see how much weight was lost at the end of my 25 days.
And while I’m very pleased with the total weight loss and, more importantly, the changes in my appearance, I’ve also noticed that the weight loss progressively slowed from one cycle to the next.
I was just wondering if you were experiencing the same thing I did in terms of actual weight loss and, if so, to what you were attributing the slow-down in weight loss.
P.S. Cheat day tomorrow and then BFFM the following day.

Hi Ed, I haven’t added up my total weight loss yet, but I believe it’s around 6 pounds and a few percent body fat.
Was I expecting more??? Yes… mainly because of the claims of the program. Am I happy with the results… You better believe it!!!
I’m really happy with how much my body has changed in only 20 days. I just don’t think that the results are Xtreme. Great, but not extreme.
I’ll share my complete thoughts when I wrap up in just a few days.
Glad to see that you are going to be following Tom’s Burn The Fat program when you are finished with Xtreme Fat Loss. I’ll be following Tom’s Holy Grail Body Transformation Program when I’m done. I just decided on that this weekend.
I’ll weigh myself tomorrow morning for the “final” number, but I anticipate that I will have lost a total of 9 pounds. I had much more to lose than you, so your 6 pounds is much better than my 9.
Still, I agree with your assessment… great, but not “xtreme.” However, there’s no way I could have lost 9 pounds in 25 days (without losing muscle) without it, no doubt. So, I’m pleased.
And I’ll probably try it again in July, after a 4 week break.

hey scott your looking good, its my fifth fast today. yesterday i ate;
cornflakes
whole wheat pasta
pistachio ice cream with bannana and mango(its funny how much i miss fruit cause of this diet)
a little oatmeal topped with condense milk and a little macadamia brownie=)
3 slices bacon and cream cheese pizza
1 brazo de mercedes cake slice
sardines and egg, 2 cups of white rice
2 slices of cheese steak pizza, a small piece of molten lava chocolate cake
mandarin oranges
protein shake and raisins.
lots of energy for my fast day workouts=)
As joel marion said. dont cheat on your cheat day.=) my results have been pretty good. will post them soon=)
nice scott! you already looked great..but now i see the definition in shoulders and arms..good job..I had to stop at day 20 because of my south beach diet but still lost 11 lbs and now am doin great on Toms carb tapering and some of his ideas in Holy Grail..I am 41 years young six 3 weigh 190 and now am starting to see t5he def. in my abs…by July 4th i will have a 6 pack using Toms methods..it really is all about iming..carb tapering proper workouts and most important RECOVERY!! great work you are always an inspiration my friend:)

Would you recommend this program for someone like me who is 127 pounds and 5′3″? I would love to love about 10 pounds of weight and get more lean for my trip to the Dominican in December this year.
Women just like you are following the program successfully, so yes I would recommend it and obviously it’s been working for me. If you read through all my posts while following the diet you’ll get a good idea of what the program is all about. If you feel that you can manage to do one fast day and one shake day for each of the five 5 day cycles, then you’ll be good to go.
The program has been easy for some people to follow and difficult for others to follow. Some people like the idea that there is a different focus for each day.
It’s just a 25 day program. It’s not a lifestyle plan. Since you have until December to release your excess 10 pounds you may want to follow a program like Tom Venuto’s Burn The Fat He’s got a great transformation contest going on in his Burn The Fat Inner Circle right now, which lasts until September.
