Xtreme Fat Loss Diet Day 17
by Scott Tousignant · Filed Under: Fat Loss Quickie Nutrition
Hurray for me! I survived another fast day. This totally ROCKS and blows my mind! Angie and I were just sitting by the pond and talking about how amazed we are that I’m able to fast for an entire day. If you have followed my complete journey on the Xtreme Fat Loss Diet you know that this was the day that I feared the most, because in the past I’ve been known to faint if I don’t eat every 4-5 hours.
I am certain that the large amounts of water that I’ve been drinking (18 glasses throughout the day) and the Prograde VGF 25 Plus Multi-Vitamins have really helped me survive the fast day. I didn’t drink nearly as much water and I didn’t take the multi-vitamins during cycle 2 and I really paid the price.
On the Xtreme Fat Loss program the fast days always involves performing the most workouts. The resistance training session went really well, but my 10 minute HIIT session really suffered. My joints felt exhausted! Not hurting… just tired. I wasn’t able to go all out for my 20 second sprints. The 30 minute bike ride in the evening felt awesome!
Throughout most of the day I didn’t look very good. In my opinion I ate way too much junk yesterday. This was the same issue that I was faced with after the 2nd cheat day. During the 3rd cheat day I took a smarter approach… I didn’t eat as much junk and created my caloric surplus through healthier choices while still having some treats that I really enjoy. I can guarantee that I’ll be taking the smarter and healthier approach to a cheat day when the 5th and final cycle begins.
I know that part of why I didn’t look so great was because of all the water I was drinking… but I drank a ton of water on the 3rd fast day and still looked phenomenal.
I’m really hoping that this cheat day didn’t wipe out any possible significant results for cycle 4. I really wanted to make this cycle the best one yet. We shall see
To achieving your limitless potential,

Scott Tousignant

How on earth can anyone drink 18 glasses of water in a day and not “stay” in the bathroom? Just curious as I would love to increase my water consumption but can’t stay chained to the ole throne 24-7.
It’s definitely a lot of water… remember that I worked out 3 times this day and it’s 90 degrees out, so a lot of it was sweated out
Sure I was in the bathroom a bit more than normal… but not too much.
Hey Scott congratulations on making it this far. I am going to be starting the xfld myself in a couple days. Your progress has greatly motivated me to do this program. I was just wondering though, what body fat percentage were you at before starting this program. I guess the leaner you are the less you will lose, on any program, right? Anyways I wish you luck on completing these last two cycles, your results have been amazing.
Awesome Johnny! I started at 11% and yes it’s definitely a lot harder to shed this last bit of stubborn fat… no doubt about it.
hey scott! good for ya, by the way in your opinion. what if you did another 2 cycles of the diet. i mean nutrition only. you dont have to workout everyday. For example doing your quickie fatloss workouts but still staying the course of the cheat, fast, shake, mod carb, depletion do you think you could still get pretty good results?
After I complete my 5th cycle I’ll be going right back to the Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle Program. I don’t plan on extending it another cycle, even without the workouts.
Joel mentioned to me that at the most you could do one extra cycle… after that you hit a point of diminishing returns.
I’ll be continuing to post my pictures each week leading up to my July 3rd beach vacation to show my continued progress.
Hey Scott, I’ve gotta say I felt the same exact way about my cheat day yesturday. I’m 16 and ate even significantly more junk than u on my cheat day and it feels like I take a step backwards on cheat day because of what the mirror reveals this morning on fast day. But we’ll see what happens.
