Hurray for me! I survived another fast day. This totally ROCKS and blows my mind! Angie and I were just sitting by the pond and talking about how amazed we are that I’m able to fast for an entire day. If you have followed my complete journey on the Xtreme Fat Loss Diet you know that this was the day that I feared the most, because in the past I’ve been known to faint if I don’t eat every 4-5 hours.

I am certain that the large amounts of water that I’ve been drinking (18 glasses throughout the day) and the Prograde VGF 25 Plus Multi-Vitamins have really helped me survive the fast day. I didn’t drink nearly as much water and I didn’t take the multi-vitamins during cycle 2 and I really paid the price.

On the Xtreme Fat Loss program the fast days always involves performing the most workouts. The resistance training session went really well, but my 10 minute HIIT session really suffered. My joints felt exhausted! Not hurting… just tired. I wasn’t able to go all out for my 20 second sprints. The 30 minute bike ride in the evening felt awesome!

Throughout most of the day I didn’t look very good. In my opinion I ate way too much junk yesterday. This was the same issue that I was faced with after the 2nd cheat day. During the 3rd cheat day I took a smarter approach… I didn’t eat as much junk and created my caloric surplus through healthier choices while still having some treats that I really enjoy. I can guarantee that I’ll be taking the smarter and healthier approach to a cheat day when the 5th and final cycle begins.

I know that part of why I didn’t look so great was because of all the water I was drinking… but I drank a ton of water on the 3rd fast day and still looked phenomenal.

I’m really hoping that this cheat day didn’t wipe out any possible significant results for cycle 4. I really wanted to make this cycle the best one yet. We shall see ;)
