Xtreme Fat Loss Diet Day 16
by Scott Tousignant · Filed Under: Nutrition
Today marks the beginning of the fourth cycle from the Xtreme Fat Loss Diet and as usual it starts with a cheat day. I’m still not a fan of having a complete cheat day. I totally prefer a cheat meal instead, but I said I would follow the program to a ‘T’
This may have been my biggest cheat day yet. Here’s what I ate…
A monster piece of my daughters birthday cake for breakfast
2 eggs with two slices of whole wheat toast
2 Oreo Sippers
Bowl of “Loads of Brownie Chunk” ice cream
6 cookies
Large sums of honey roasted peanuts
Kit Kat Chunky Max bar
Drumstick Ice Cream Cone
1 honey garlic chicken kabob
Kit Kat Chunky Max bar
Nachos and Dip
Hummus with Pita bread
Jelly Beans
OK, I’m officially grossed out just looking at this list. It will be interesting to compare my results this cycle with the last cycle where my cheat day was more tame in the junk compartment, yet still in major caloric surplus, but through healthier foods such as sweet potatoes.
Many of us in the support community are starting to prepare for the end of this 25 day challenge to ensure that we maintain our results and even improve upon them.
Most of us are going to be following Tom Venuto’s Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle and even participating in Tom’s Burn The Fat Summer 2010 Transformation Contest. I’m really looking forward to seeing everyone finish the Summer in better shape than when it began!
I’m ready to give this 4th cycle every ounce of my effort to ensure the best results possible. Let’s ROCK!
To achieving your limitless potential,

Scott Tousignant

hey scott, hows your body feeling with all those workouts? any aches and pains?
Funny that you mention it. Today for the first time my knees felt tired… not painful, just tired while doing the HIIT. I could have warmed up a bit better. Other than that everything is feeling really good. Looking forward to my Quickie workouts soon though
I start my fifth five (5) day cycle tomorrow. The results have been amazing, even though I’ve done no cardio or HIIT.
I’ve stuck to my own weight-lifting routine (6 days a week, each bodypart twice a week). I was expecting to lose strength as I lost weight, but my workouts haven’t suffered at all. I can only assume that the weight loss is primarly fat, and it certainly appears that way from the looks of my mid-section.
After 20 days (4 five-day cycles), I’ve lost 9.5 pounds. I probably have another 10.5 to lose before a six-pack should rear its head.
I need a fat-loss “program” as I have proven to have insufficient discipline without one and XFLD has worked wonders so far.
Is there any reason why I can’t simply continue the XFLD after the 25 days until I get a six-pack?
Great results Ed! Keep up the great work!
I just spoke to Joel and he said if you would like to do one extra cycle that would be ok, but after that you get to a point of diminishing returns. So take a break and then give it another go if you find that this is a program that you enjoy and can stick with for 25-30 days.
Hi Scott,
It’s been nice following your journey through this program.
How about posting all your photos side-by-side on the same page?
That would make it easier to see the progress you have made through the cycles.
Right now, you’ve been posting pictures on different pages and it’s so much harder
to see the not-so-obvious changes. The obvious ones like your upper abs are clearly seen, of course.
Here’s hoping to great results in the remaining part of the program as well!
Sounds great Sasha. I was going to do that at the end of the 25 days, but I’ll do it at the end of this 4th cycle as well.
Hey~
I found your page through a search engine, and i’m pretty glad i found it! SHould have earlier tho, i’m sure that would have helped me through the cycle since i dont have much help from the people around me..
WHat i was wondering, is that Burn The Fat Summer Challenge only available for US residents?
There are some restrictions for the the contest depending on where you live. You can find all the details here Burn The Fat Summer 2010 Transformation Contest
I was enjoying reading your website even though it was a year old until I got to the part where you ate a piece of your daughters birthday cake – 10 days after her birthday! Is all this for real or not?
Cindy, can you point out where I said I ate my daughter’s birthday cake 10 days after her birthday?
Yep, it’s all real. I didn’t make anything up.
