Xtreme Fat Loss Diet Day 10

Wow! Two cycles down and just three more to go with the 25 day Xtreme Fat Loss challenge. At times it’s felt longer than that and other times it’s felt much shorter.
Once again, I feel great today and I do love the high protein days. For some reason I have much more energy when I consume more protein. Ask me to cut down on carbs and I have no problem… ask me to eliminate protein and you’ll have one angry Canadian on your hands ![]()
After not noticing much in the results department the first few days of this second cycle I’m starting to notice a bit more today. I’m looking forward to taking my measurements tomorrow to see what kind of progress I’ve made. I avoid the scale and measurement methods until I’ve completed the cycle. I don’t want to obsess over the numbers and I want to ensure that I have my complete focus on the following the program.
One thing is for certain… my pants are falling off me. I think that part of that has to do with less gunk in my intestines. Starchy carbs can sometimes bloat me, so with reduced carbs on this diet I’m sure that is playing a role in my tummy shrinking even if not much fat is coming off.
I woke up craving the left over salmon from yesterday so I had that for breakfast, which kind of took Angie by surprise
After a great morning workout I had scrambled egg whites with lots of veggies. For lunch I had a big tuna salad with a variety of greens and veggies. Next I had a large chicken breast and veggies and finished the day off with a Prograde PB and J Protein Shake.
I feel confident and strong today and am looking forward to completing the challenge. It’s definitely had it’s challenging moments, but there are so many moments when I feel that I’m not on a diet.
I can’t believe tomorrow is another cheat day already. I’m wondering how I’m going to handle that? I don’t really want to have as much junk as the first two cheat days, but I will certainly have a surplus of calories for the day.
Can’t wait to take my measurements and share them with you. This accountability has been a tremendous help for me and I appreciate you for following along in this journey, sharing your results, challenges, and words of encouragement. As tough as it’s been, it’s been fun as well, because I don’t feel alone in the journey.
