Traci Knoppe is an ambitious and brilliant homeschooling work at home mom who is making a big splash in the online world with her recent program Beginner To Blogger. You may know Traci and have come across her great videos and tutorials, but what you may not know is that she made a big decision to undergo gastric bypass surgery a few years ago.
In the interview below you will hear an open and honest account of Traci’s life prior to weight loss surgery, what motivated her to make this very big decision to have weight loss surgery, and how it has impacted her life today.
This is a very powerful and revealing interview even if you never plan on having weight loss surgery yourself. Traci also shares her great story about how her business model has evolved and grown in the past 10 plus years. This was a really great share that many of us can learn from.
Enjoy the interview and please take a moment to share your thoughts and opinions below.
You ROCK! Enjoy the experience,
Scott Tousignant

Wow what a fantastic interview. How amazing that you have achieved so much with the health issues involved with your surgery. Looking forward to get to know you better in the Fat Loss Quickie members area
Also Traci we sound so similar in some ways! It’s funny how many things you mentioned about your business that I also did:
- got online in 96 – was one of the ISP’s first customers
- built my first site on Geocities and taught myself html
- immerse myself into anything I’m really interested in
- did/do website design
- provide teaching services from the experience I gained over the years
I just couldn’t help listing them because there were so many of the same things, lol!
I wish I could remember the name of my first geocities domain so I could look it up in the web archives.

So glad you guys did this podcast!! You won’t even know how much! My hubby’s aunt had the surgery and it has made me really hate the surgery. She used to be such a sweet, fun-loving, HAPPY person. And don’t get me wrong – she’s still sweet and I still love her very much – but, she is always tired and not very often happy. And it just absolutely breaks my heart. When I first met my inlaws, she was one that really just embraced me with open arms, excitedly, happily. That Aunt Lisa is gone.
But I don’t want to pry and ask her tons of questions – so this podcast really helped me out. Thank you so much.
