Add Variety To Your HIIT Workouts With Hill Sprints

There is no question that High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) is very effective at burning fat and it’s a very time efficient form of exercise. But I believe the greatest benefit of HIIT is the “Fun Factor”. The chances of you ‘sticking with it‘ will skyrocket when you are having fun with your workout program.

Adding to the ‘fun factor’ is that HIIT can be performed in nearly limitless ways. You can easily mix up the interval times as well as the exercises. I feel that one of the funnest ways to perform HIIT is to get outdoors and perform hill sprints. It’s an incredible workout and you can incorporate a great deal of variety within the hill sprint session.

Check out the variety of movements that I incorporated into this recent hill sprint HIIT workout…

A Fun HIIT Workout On The Bleachers

Our family spent some time at the park today running around and having fun. While we were there I did a quickie HIIT session on the hill and Angie did a fun HIIT workout on the park bleachers. What made it even more fun was that our son Shayne did the HIIT workout along side Angie.

You’ll crack up ;)

Cardio Challenge: 100 Rep Dumbbell Squats

Do you have what it takes to complete the 100 rep dumbbell squat challenge? Quick cardio sessions come in a variety of forms and are incredible at burning fat, skyrocketing your energy, improving your focus, and helping you become more productive throughout your day. I experiment with a variety of exercises to find the right combination’s for optimal fat burning in 10-minutes or less right here in my home office.

One of my favorite quick cardio workouts is performing 100 rep dumbbell squats. The challenge is to see how quickly you can complete 100 reps with proper form. If you are a beginner you may want to start off without using any dumbbells and simply using your own body weight.

Here’s a video demonstration of how to perform 100 rep squats as a cardio workout:

100 Rep Dumbbell Squats

The idea is to do as many squats as you can followed by a short break, then repeat until you reach 100 reps. Take note of how
