Just Be Yourself

It’s time to get in-tune with your values, passion, and purpose. Take a good look in the mirror and say, “YOU ROCK!” You have so much to offer the world yet you’ve been keeping it locked inside as you’ve followed the crowd rather than just being yourself.
Just because the crowd is lining up at the buffet line doesn’t mean that you should. Just because the crowd is spending more time in front of the television instead of on their feet and enjoying the great outdoors doesn’t mean that you should. Just because the crowd is following some fad diet doesn’t mean that you should. Just because the crowd is saying that long duration cardio is boring and dead doesn’t mean that you should.
Just be yourself! I love this song by Jann Arden. It’s called “Good Mother”. Watch this music video and let me know if it resonates with you. Listen carefully to the words, “Facing forward, be yourself”.
I’m my own unique being. I don’t follow the crowd. I do what feels right to me and is in alignment with my core values. I don’t try to pretend to be someone that I’m not.
When it comes to fitness I create programs that suit my lifestyle and resonate with the people whom I love to associate with. I’m a work-at-home-dad and my wife Angie is a work-at-home-mom. That’s what inspired the creation of the Fat Loss Quickie Home Office Fitness program along with the requests and feedback from my fellow work-at-home-mom and dad friends.
Angie created “More Love Less Fat” as a way for her and I to bond and strengthen our relationship. It’s what’s in alignment with her values and her purpose of helping other couples transform their body’s and relationships.
We beat to our own drum. We follow our purpose and passion. We simply “Be Ourselves.” Don’t let anyone tell you what’s best for you. Only you know in your heart of hearts what’s truly best for you. You just have to take the time to listen to your heart.
You owe it to yourself and the world to be the “Best You That You Can Be”.
You ROCK! Enjoy the experience,

Good morning yall! Just wanted to say that yesterday at the party, I didn’t have ONE slice of pizza or the heavenly looking chocolate cake. I thought to myself, well maybe one little piece of cake wouldn’t hurt, but I remembered how hard I hit the gym Friday morning!
That’s a really pretty song you posted! I love how she says
“feet on ground, heart in hand, facing forward, be yourself”
Awesome advice summed up in a few words! Never look back!
And many many thanks to Angie who came up with the more love less fat program! Just that phrase (catchy phrase btw!) is what kicked my thought process into high gear and made me want to read up on everything on you guys’ website!
Thanks again for the motivation!
