Home Office Fitness Transformation Contest Rules
by Scott Tousignant · Filed Under: Home Workouts
The goal of the Fat Loss Quickie Home Office Transformation Contest is to provide you with extra motivation/incentive, and focus to achieve your business, fitness, and life goals during the next 84 days. This is a balanced approach to fitness, business, and life. The Home Office Fitness Transformation Contest will help keep you focused on living a balanced lifestyle.
Here are the steps to participating in the Home Office Fitness Transformation Contest…
1) Share your fitness, business, and life goals in the comment box below. For example, your fitness goal may be to fit into a certain article of clothing. Fat Loss Quickie member Angela Wills has a great goal of fitting into a leather jacket by her birthday. She’s got the jacket and even has pictures of what she looked like when it used to fit her. That’s a big motivator.
Your business goal may be to attract 500 new customers to your program, make a certain number of affiliate sales for a product that you recommend, create your very first membership site, write your first ebook, create a teleseminar series, or even earn a certain amount of money from all your business actions.
Your life goal may be a family vacation, reducing the amount of hours that you need to work so you can spend more time with your family, taking a mini weekend vacation each month with your family, or freeing up your time so you can volunteer in your community.
2) Break your big goals into four 21 day goals. If your goal is to write your first ebook and make x number of sales in the next 84 days, you will need to break it down into mini goals. For example… during the first 21 days you may want to complete writing the ebook. During the next 21 days you may want to focus on getting the sales page written to promote your book. The next 21 days you may want to focus on connecting with your joint venture partners and let them know what you’ve got going on. The last 21 days would be the actual sales of your ebook, tweaking the sales copy, and improving the conversions as well as attracting new affiliates.
If your goal is to lose 24 pounds you can break that goal down into releasing 6 pounds from your body every 21 days.
If your goal is to take a family vacation that will cost you $1200 you can break it down to putting aside $300 every 21 days into a savings account that is dedicated to the vacation.
3) Accountability. Check in with me and the Fat Loss Quickie gang each day to let us know how your day went. Did you do your workouts? Did you stay focused on your business tasks? Did you take time to enjoy life and your family?
Use the Fat Loss Quickie support community for your daily accountability. That way you will have the entire team checking in on you to make sure that you are on track.
Short tweets to let me know that you’ve completed a specific task is another great way of staying accountable to your goals.
If you are using your blog and video as a means of accountability, you’ll be earning extra browning points because it takes effort and time to keep that up. You’ll also receive the reward of me sending traffic to your blog for my followers to check out.
It will be great to see all of you earning 75% affiliate commissions for your recommendation of the Fat Loss Quickie program on your blogs.
4) Support Your Fellow Members. There are many different ways that you can support your fellow Fat Loss Quickie members. You can offer them words of encouragement in the support community, hold them accountable to their goals, offer advice, share resources, and celebrate their victories.
Many of you are blogging your journey on the Fat Loss Quickie program. Take a moment and visit your fellow members blogs and leave a quick comment and word of encouragement. That can go a very long way.
Our community is full of incredibly amazing people with various expertise. Take advantage of the wonderful networking opportunities there… they just may help you achieve your goals faster than you imagined.
5) Peer Voting. Each 21 days the Fat Loss Quickie members will vote on who deserves the prize package for that specific 21 day challenge. It will be based on who achieved the most success in reaching their business, fitness, and life goals that they set for that specific 21 days challenge.
Remember, this is a balanced approach, so if you exceed your goal of getting 100 new customers and actually got 200 but only lost 1 of the 6 pounds that you intended to release, and you ended up working more hours instead of less and sacrificed precious quality family time… then you wouldn’t win because you didn’t take a balanced approach.
Shall we get started…
Share your big fitness, business, and life goals below and break them down into 21 day goals. Get in the support community, encourage each other, and help each other achieve your goals.
I want to see all of you achieving more than you ever imagined during the next 84 days. I want you to see that balance is possible to achieve and how taking a balanced approach actually helps you get more done and allows you to enjoy life to the fullest.
There are going to be a heck of a lot of success stories during the next 84 days. You are a role model. Your success will have a positive impact on everyone around you. Be proud of yourself. You truly are making a difference in the world and for that I am extremely grateful.
Good luck!
You ROCK! Enjoy the experience,
Scott Tousignant

I’m so excited about this
Here are my big goals and part 1 subgoals (the other mini goals will come when I get past the first three weeks
Fitness Big Goal: To lose 10% body fat
part 1: write down what I eat and eat carb/protein/6 meals a day with planned treats
Business Big Goal: 500 subscribers on my Tame the Internet Monster List
part 1: Write 25 articles and create a teleseminar and 2 special reports from them.
Life Big Goal: Calm, organized home + done with work by 3 p.m. each day.
Scott — this is perfect for me. I will be back later today with some carefully thought-out goals. Thanks for doing this!
Woohoo! Ready to Transform.
I had a hard time choosing because I wanted to make sure my goals were control-able, achieve-able and measure-able! I choose to pick goals that focus on the input and not the output – I hope that’s ok!
Here they are:
Business
50% of my income from blogging/affiliate marketing
# Choose four products to promote and focus on two products per day (five days per week) for a minimum of fifteen minutes each.
# One new talk radio show per week with an awesome guest.
Fitness
Fit back into my Size Medium Leather Jacket!
# Never miss a workout. There are 10 per week and even if I don’t do it on the exact day I have no excuse for not getting each of them done.
# Hold myself accountable by starting AND KEEPING UP WITH a food journal. The goal with this journal is to make sure I am not overeating on sweets and junk.
Life
Focus on Relationships
# Off the computer by 4pm and DO NOT TOUCH IT AGAIN until after my son is in bed
# Always be in the moment with everyone I talk to and not be always talking ‘obsessing’ about my business
I’m also blogging this and the post is here:

My goals for the 84 days of the Transformation Challenge are as follows:
Fitness – shrink at least 8 inches and 10% of my body weight, which means 2 inches and 2.5% average per 21-day period.
Business: Increase my income by the amount I have written down and cut my work time by 20%.
Life: Go out to see 1 movie per month and plan a 7-10 day vacation to happen by June 2010.
This is a post on my blog about the challenge:

I was really nervous about this but now that it is out on paper I feel a lot better and I’m getting more excited than nervous. I made myself a little check off sheet to keep myself on track. I also included a long term goal (that I have never shared until this point) to ground myself.
I have abbreviated this for space but my full neat pretty list will be up when I launch the blog on my new website.
Lifestyle
1. No more 18-20 hour days. (Yes I wrote this at 2 A.M.)
2. To have at least one adult or mommy only activity a week.
3. Spend more educational time with Riley.
4. To find my balance and calm.
5. To not feel bad about stopping to read an article or book occasionally.
Business
1. To get my new website up and finished.
2. To get my blog started and stop making excuses to myself about it.
3. Finish my copywrite coaching.
4. To attain “enough” new clients for our transcription and writing business.
5. To clear $3000 or more a month.
Fitness
1. To feel better in my clothes and not avoid having my picture taken.
2. To continue strength training my knee and legs.
3. To loose 40-45 lbs total. (Already lost 10.)
Long Term Goals.
1. To make my business and home life a success so I can start the application process for being a foster parent.
First 21 Days
1. Finish training my new VA so she can take over more.
2. 1 mommy activity at least every other week.
3. To take Riley to the zoo before it gets too cold.
4. Get the new website and blog launched.
5. Launch new referral program.
6. Loose 8-10 lbs and stick to FLQ daily schedule.
Second 21 Days
1. Start scheduling my work hours and not going outside them.
2. 1 mommy activity per week.
3. To take Riley to the Pumpkin Patch.
4. Completely finish my copywrite coaching program (which means my website will be 95% complete.)
5. To attain 5 new clients.
6. Loose 8-10 lbs more and continue to stick to the FLQ daily schedule.
Third 21 Days
1. Only work 8 hour days 5 days a week.
2. 1 mommy activity per week.
3. To have finished reading the book I just started.
4. Have my website completely perfected and maintain at least one blog post a week.
Repeat 5&6 above.
Fourth 21 Days
1. To take a full week off work while MDO is out for Thanksgiving.
2. To take Riley to the Adventure Science Center.
3. Continue my blog posts.
4. To evaluate how many new clients I need to achieve my monetary goals.
5. Loose 8-10 lbs more and continue to stick to the FLQ daily schedule.
Wow, this is so cool!!! I love the part about breaking down the goals into 21 day periods.
Here they are:
Business
Have $50,000 deposited in bank account by Jan 21st 2010 from sales and internet marketing products (just deposited $3,000 yesterday)
Fitness
Lose 12 or more pounds using FLQ and NutriSystem program (which by the way is working great! I love the food! PS the wife is not a good cook!)
Lifestyle
Take my entire family on a cruise to the Bahamas to celebrate my birthday!
Thanks Scott

Ok Scott I think I need a re-do on my goals.
Having a seriously hard time making anything feel ‘real’ and achieve-able. Feeling overwhelmed by what I put down the first time. Can you delete my first post? Here are my new first 21 day goals:
Life:
Off computer by 4pm. Take 15 minutes per day to reflect, think and figure out what I really want from LIFE since I am drawing a complete blank on putting this into a goal.
Fitness:
Never miss a quickie. Fruits and veggies daily. 650ml x 2 water daily.
Business:
Make enough extra money to get to NAMS3. $1400/4 = $350 per 21 days (that is of course $300 less when I win the ticket!)
With these new goals I’ll check in daily on the members area and I’ll be blogging as much as I can too.
Forex short term trading is fun but can be rewarding!
