Goal Achievement Rule #1 What Do You Want To Achieve?
by Scott Tousignant · Filed Under: Fat Loss Quickie Motivation
For the past couple months my buddy Tom Terwilleger, the “Achievement Mentor” has helped me get crystal clear on exactly what I want to achieve in life, he’s lit a fire under my butt to go after those crystal clear goals with all my heart and passion, and he’s provided me with the tools and insights to measure my success along the way.
I owe Tom a great deal of gratitude, as these past couple months have been the most successful in my life… and I’m talking in all areas of my life… fitness, business, family, life.
Tom has been such a tremendous help to me and I would love for you to experience a similar and possibly even bigger impact on your life. Over the course of a series of posts, I am going to share some brilliant and motivating insights from Tom, which will help you get crystal clear on the goals that you MUST achieve in life.
Here’s part 1 in the Goal Achievement Series. It’s all about WHAT you want to achieve…
Before learning from Tom I thought I knew what I wanted to achieve. Let’s just say, I now realize that I had a vague idea of what I wanted to achieve.
I know mindset. Studying the impact of an unstoppable mindset has been a passion of mine for over 15 years when I first began studying Sport Psychology in University and how Olympic Athletes harness the power of the mind to bring them to the top of their game.
I “KNOW” this stuff, but every once in a while you need a mentor or coach to step in and get you to step up your own personal game and raise the bar to help you reach your full potential.
I’ve been writing a great deal about how you should be living to your full potential lately. That’s no coincidence. It’s because I’ve stepped up my game and realize that I am capable of much more than what I’m currently achieving.
Here’s one of the posts titled “Are You Giving Your Very Best Effort Toward Achieving Your Fat Loss Goals?”
Here’s another inspiring video “Your Fat Loss Potential and a Swift Kick In The Butt!”
Because I now know exactly what I want to achieve I have never been more excited to achieve my goals! That’s absolutely HUGE! I’m not just hoping to achieve something. I’m expecting to achieve something AWESOME!
One of my goals is to look my absolute best ever when I’m walking the beaches of Turks and Caicos on July 3rd. I have a crystal clear picture of what that goal looks like. I see incredible definition all over my body and ripped 6 pack abs. I see myself looking amazing and feeling on top of the world as I build sandcastles on the beach with my kids. I can feel the confidence and I can see how it will impact my trip.
Another goal of mine is to own a lakehouse within 5 years. I have a crystal clear image of what the lakehouse and surrounding property looks like. I can see my kids running around outside and walking down the steps to the beach. I see my parents enjoying a coffee on the deck. I see Angie and I cuddling by the fireplace.
A huge goal of mine is to reverse the obesity trend by the year 2015. I have a crystal clear idea of what needs to take place in order for this goal to happen and I can see the newscoverage going crazy and even an appearance on Oprah to discus how achieving this goal has impacted millions of people on an individual level, but also how achieving this goal has had an impact on a global level.
I know what I want in life and I’ve never been more excited!
What do you want to achieve? Are you crystal clear? I’d love to hear about your incredible goals that are totally worth achieving. Go after those goals with heart and passion!
To achieving your limitless potential,

Scott Tousignant
