Are Active People Happier?
by Scott Tousignant · Filed Under: Cardio
What do you think… Are active people happier? I believe that they are and here’s my reason why…
Every day when I go for a bike ride or walk and I pass by other walkers or bikers we always acknowledge each other, wave, smile, and say, “Good morning.” It’s an instant mood picker-upper
In that moment you feel great. You know that you are doing something that is good for your overall health, and it’s nice to share that small moment with other active people. I’m not just talking about thin people. This applies to anyone of any weight who is taking the time to get outdoors and be active. But this brings up another related question…
Are we only happier during the time that we are active or does it carry over throughout the rest of your day. It’s my opinion that we are definitely happier in the moments that we are active. I also believe the effects last throughout much of the day. What do you think?
This is a stark contrast from the times when you are walking through the mall or out on the streets during your lunch break. Many people are walking with their heads down and look kind of miserable. Rarely do you get acknowledged by others, and believe me I try to make eye contact with everyone and smile at them.
Do you notice the same thing?
If active people are happier, why the heck aren’t more people active and why are we allowing our children to spend hours in front of the television, video games, and computer?
To wrap up this post and prepare for your comments I want to leave you with this… Your ultimate goal is always happiness!
You ROCK! Enjoy the experience,

I use to work at Home Depot just stocking up materials and it was rather hard but my body was in great condition and even though stressful situations popped up they were easy to handle.
