Benefits Of Quick Workouts and Long Duration Cardio

Fat Loss Quickie

The key to a successful fitness program is compliance. The easier a program is to stick with, the greater the chances are that you will experience long term success. That’s why it’s important to follow a program that suits your lifestyle and includes activities that you enjoy.

One of the major benefits of the Fat Loss Quickie home office fitness program is that the workouts are only approximately 10 minutes in length and you don’t have to leave your office to do your workout. It’s convenient, and don’t tell me that you don’t have 10 minutes in your day to take care of your health and increase your productivity.

I have previously shared some of the benefits of quick home office workouts such as helping you get more done in less time because of increased productivity, energy, and focus. Improving your quality of work and time management, as well as increased networking opportunities.

Now it’s time to share one of the physical benefits. Quick home office workouts will boost your metabolism in a major way. Long after you’ve done your quick workout your metabolism will still be revved up, burning calories, and melting fat. Your metabolism will stay cranked while you are working at your desk and you’ll be burning more calories even while you sleep.

Let’s move onto the benefits of long duration cardio. I encourage the Fat Loss Quickie members to incorporate some form of long duration cardio into their work week and I recommend that it’s something that they enjoy.

For example I absolutely love to ride my bike during the spring, summer, and fall months. It helps me clear my head, get in-tune with my body and my thoughts, and generate new ideas for my business, many of which I implement as soon as I get back from the bike ride and have a quick shower ;)

I get a lot of my ideas for my blog posts while I’m out on a bike ride as well. I bring my Flip camera with me and attach it to my handle bars with a JOBY tripod. I then record any ideas that I get during the bike ride.

It’s nice to get the variety of long duration cardio in addition to the quickie home office workouts. Combined they pack a powerful punch that help me get more done in less time and strike a balance between fitness, business, and life.

So your task for today is to go for a walk, bike ride, or any form of long duration cardio that you enjoy and allow your head to clear and new thoughts enter your mind. If you generate an idea while you are performing the long duration cardio, get home and take immediate action on it.

Share your idea with us here and celebrate the fact that you took immediate action on it.

You ROCK! Enjoy the experience,

Scott Tousignant
