Cardio Bashing Has Sunk To An All New Low

Have I lost my mind? Maybe… and it’s all because cardio bashing has sunk to an all new low. But my loss in mental health is your gain, with the funniest fat loss video that I’ve ever created…

After being swarmed with a new wave of cardio bashing, I couldn’t help but make a comical video that demonstrates just how absurd some of these claims are.

Long duration cardio… love it or hate it, I totally respect your opinion. What I don’t respect is when a “fat loss expert” cherry picks data in an effort to mislead the public for the sole purpose of selling their program that is based on Interval Training.

Keeping It Real: How Angie and Scott Workout

In response to the countless requests from our Fat Loss Quickie blog readers, asking us exactly how we workout, what we eat, and how we motivate ourselves to continue transforming our body’s… Angie and I have dedicated ourselves to recording the workouts that we do each month, the meals that we eat, and the strategies that we use to keep our motivation at super high levels.

This is us “Keeping it Real”. No hyped up programs or gimmicks. We’re sharing exactly what we do. The stuff that works for us and we are confident will work for you.

Right now, what’s been working for Angie is her Sizzlin’ Circuits program that targets the problem areas that many women face. She’s been following it for the past 4 weeks with great success and is about to move onto a new program, “Core and More”, which she’ll share with you soon.

I just finished following my ROCK That Body program for the past 4 weeks. This has been my go to program for serious results! I have added some muscle and burned fat while following the ROCK That Body program last month. I have now begun following my Pyramid Pandemonium program and will share those results with you soon. It’s killer… no doubt about that!

Immediate and Inspired Action Leads To Fat Loss Success

I have an awesome interview and success story to share with you today. The underlying principle is the importance of taking inspired and immediate action after consuming valuable fat loss information that has the potential to seriously transform your body.

The way that I look at it, there are two types of people when it comes to body transformations. There are the people who read book after book and are quick to jump on board with the latest hyped up fat loss program, yet they do nothing more than read. They may take some kind of action, but in the back of their minds they are thinking that “This will never work.” Unfortunately these people never achieve the body transformation that they desire.

Then there are the serious action takers. The people who read a book or listen to an audio and can’t wait to take action. They’ll hit pause on their mp3 player or bookmark a page so they can apply a new exercise technique or recipe. They seize the moment of inspiration and take immediate action. They’re not waiting for tomorrow, or Monday to come before they take action. They take action NOW! That’s why these are the people who become successful at reaching their body transformation goals.

Killer Leg Workout: Leg Press Drop Sets

In yesterday’s article Long Live Isolation Exercises we compared compound exercises vs isolation exercises along with the benefits that each one brings to the table. Today I am going to share an amazing workout that combines the power and calorie burning benefits of a compound exercise as well as the sculpting and shaping benefits of an isolation exercise…


The leg press is a fantastic exercise for working your legs. It doesn’t replace a squat or a deadlift, but it’s still one of the best exercises that you can do for your legs. Chances are pretty good that you are already incorporating the leg press into your workouts, but there’s also a pretty good chance that you are not receiving the maximum benefits from this great exercise.

If you are performing the leg press with your feet in the same position on the press every time, you’ll be placing more of the resistance on just a few of the muscles that make up your legs. However, by varying the position of your feet, you can isolate other muscle that make up your legs, while still experiencing the benefits of a compound movement.

Long Live Isolation Exercises

Isolation exercises seem to have gotten a bad rap from “fitness experts” during the past decade. In large part it’s because compound exercises give you more bang for the buck as they work more muscles during the movement and burn more calories.

As a result of our ‘time pressed‘ society, fitness trainers have appealed to the masses by saying, “Isolation exercises are a waste of time when you can burn more calories during the same time frame by performing only compound movements.”

I can’t argue with the fact that compound movements are much more effective and efficient at burning calories. That’s why compound movements should make up the large part of your workout and should be the primary focus of your workout. But to say that isolation exercises are a waste of time is ignorant if you are making a broad statement.
